Best Acura MDX 2008 ImageThe MDX is quick on its feet. Thanks to a generous 245 lb.ft of torque available between 3000 to 5000 rpm, highway passing maneuvers are accomplished with confidence. At the drag strip, the MDX hits 60 mph in less than 9 seconds. Stopping power is provided by vented 11.8 in. front and solid 12.3 in. rear disc brakes, aided by ABS. The 5 speed automatic transmission working with a variable torque management 4 wheel drive (VTM-4) system distributes power approximately to all four wheels as needed.
